About Henfields Country Retreat
This tranquil lodge site is designed to give you the most luxurious and peaceful escape you could imagine, with each lodge equipped with its own private hot tub. The site is spread out across a beautifully-maintained 30 acres, and each unit has a tasteful wooden fence surrounding it, ensuring maximum privacy so you can really relax.
Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by a member of the team, who will give you a ‘welcome pack’ with information and some little treats, and they will ensure that your accommodation is comfortably warm and ready for you to settle in so your holiday can begin the minute you arrive.
Wheelchair Accessible Glamping Pod
Of the 8 unique units at Henfields Country Retreat, one is a fully accessible OmniPod which has been affectionately named the Door Mouse pod. Living up to its name, it’s the smallest on site (sleeping 2), and has an open-plan layout which makes it feel spacious whilst still keeping that cosy feel.
Outside, the pod has its own private decking area, complete with a built-in hot tub, barbecue stand and an accessible outdoor eating area, and with our covered porch you can enjoy it whatever the weather! The surrounding fence offers privacy as well as making it perfectly suitable for dogs, and you get your own private parking space right outside.
There is level-access into the pod and it is fitted with most of the accessibility features we offer as standard. These include:
Spacious turning circles for wheelchairs.
Low-level kitchen.
Wet-room with shower seat.
Grab rails by the toilet and shower.
Wheelchair-friendly bathroom sink.
