Omnipods – Approved Supplier of National Trust Properties

We are delighted to announce that we have been appointed an approved supplier of accessible holiday accommodation for all National Trust Properties throughout England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

The National Trust invited us to exhibit our show pod at their two-day Leadership Conference in the grounds of the stunning Chateau Impney near Droitwich, Worcestershire, this November. The event was to showcase to managers of National Trust properties the six selected companies that make up their 'tool kit' of approved suppliers. Omnipods are the only supplier in this 'tool kit' who offers specially designed accommodation for disabled tourists and people with special access requirements.

Nicer than my own house!

The delegates at this exhibition loved the superb quality and spacious feel of the glamping pods. “It's nicer than my house at home!” was one of the remarks we got. Which is exactly what you want from your holiday accommodation!

We're thrilled that the National Trust have recognised the high quality and fantastic design that make our pods so unique. And we're really excited about working together to make the National Trust properties - which we consider to be one of our national treasures - more accessible to people with disabilities.

There's already a nice synergy in place in the form of our supplier, Motion Spot, who design the beautiful accessible fittings we use in all our wet rooms. They already furnish a number of National Trust properties with fittings for their disabled toilets and bathrooms. Well, they do say that great minds think alike!

Leading the Way in Accessible Tourism

It's fantastic that the National Trust are leading the way in this area and we hope many more companies and organisations will follow suit when they see the benefits of serving this desperately overlooked market. We passionately believe beautiful holiday accommodation should be accessible to all, including those individuals who are disabled, in wheelchairs or have other mobility issues so they too can enjoy a well-deserved break with family or friends.
